ABOUT AMANDA

I have been a professional singer and performer for over 25 years performing in London’s West End in beloved shows ranging from Mamma Mia to Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, I moved to Dubai in 2016 to focus on inspiring others with my inate passion for performing.
My aim is to encourage my students to become a more confident version of themselves, whilst helping them improve on vocal technique, projection of voice, breath control, vocal support, diction, intonation and dynamics – my end goal is for you to develop a heartfelt connection to singing. It is the most unique and personnal instrument, coming straight from the soul and learning to master the voice develops confidence, passion and self-expression in a way that no other can.

BIO
Amanda, originally from the UK, has been a professional singer and performer for more than 25 years. She has taken roles in Mamma Mia! In the West End in London as understudy for the jeuvenille lead Sophie and playing nightly in the ensemble and also the Narrator in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat on the UK Tour and in the West End. She has also tourred with Magic Of The Musicals in Denmark and as lead vocalist on A Night at the Musicals on the UK tour.
She has performed with numerous function bands at weddings, corporate events, as part of tribute acts (ABBA, Grease and Dirty Dancing) as well as going out as a solo artist, DJ and host Internationally for many years. Amanda has recorded songs featured on adverts & television and she has taken featured roles on Coronation Street & The Jury for ITV and in movies Burke & Hare (with Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Isla Fischer) and in Will with Damian Lewis.
Since moving to Dubai, Amanda has performed many times as a solo act for New Year’s Eve, played the roles of the Queen in The Frog Prince at Dubai Parks and Resorts, Mary Poppins in A Step in Time and Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves at The Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi. She has performed as part of a quartet in a Winter concert at Yas Mall and has written, produced and directed shows for Diverse Performing Arts School, whilst being a full time Singing and Musical Theatre teacher at the school. She regularly goes out to teach at various schools across the region for one to one lessons, musical theatre and drama masterclasses, workshops and hosting presentations.
